Named a 2009 and 2010 Superlawyer Rising Star, Jordan A. Handrich has a strong background in the area of construction defect and mold/water intrusion litigation. She has represented clients consisting of homeowner associations, home owners, and companies who have construction defect problems ranging from defective stucco to bad roof systems. After attending the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., 2001), Jordan was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 2001. She joined Harper & Peterson in 2004 as a part-time project attorney and became a permanent addition to the firm in May, 2005. She has recently accepted a position with VerStandig Law Firm and is excited to work in and with the gaming community as Handrich herself is a very accomplished poker player.
Jordan has been heavily involved in the legal community. She was a previous participant in the New Lawyers Section, Women Lawyers Section, and a co-chair to the Membership Committee of the Minnesota Association for Justice. She also served as co-chair to the New Lawyers Section and liaison to the Board of Governors of the Minnesota Association for Justice from 2006-2008. She helped create standard forms for the Minnesota State Bar Association as part of her participation on the Residential Real Estate Committee.
