Jazmine Thompson is a summer law clerk with the VerStandig Law Firm. Prior to her employment with the VerStandig Law Firm, Jazmine worked as a legal intern for Caesars Entertainment, the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, LLP. Jazmine has experience working on various civil matters, including contract disputes, employment disputes, general liability, data privacy, and securities. Jazmine is looking forward to working in the gaming community through her position with the VerStandig Law Firm.
Currently, Jazmine is a rising third-year law student at the William S. Boyd School of Law. She is very involved with her law school community as she serves as an articles editor for the UNLV Gaming Law Journal, a class representative for the Student Bar Association, and a student ambassador for the Admissions Department. Additionally, Jazmine formerly served her law school as the president of the Black Law Students Association and secretary of the Sports and Entertainment Law Association. Prior to law school, Jazmine graduated cum laude from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, emphasizing in Legal Civic Advocacy.
